I approach art about human experience in a scientific way, creating a control and removing variables so that the only thing measured is perception, emotion or memory. All of which are almost unmeasurable and quite subjective, however what I'm interested in seeing is if an unmeasurable, subjective result resonates to a global audience.
I also like to make art about myself, my experiences, but not in a completely selfish way. I want to see if art about my experiences in life speak to others. A large part of my art is trying to understand my life and experiences through others. Do we all express love the same way? Do we all remember fear the same way? If so why? Why not? |
My art about sex work mainly consists of an objective pictorial language that might only be understood by someone with an experience in sex work. By representing my experience and memories artistically without nudity or cliches I aim to normalise sex work and broaden the understanding of who a sex worker is and what they do.
